I'm Catharine Scruggs (she/her), ZF's Community Engagement Director.
I live in Portland, Maine with my husband, 3 cats and a chihuahua. My son just graduated from college and our daughter is working and starting grad school in Boston.
I have worked in higher education for my entire career, developing educational policies, programs, processes, services and operational capacities at the Council on International Educational Exchange, Kaplan International, and Gateway International, and as a consultant.
I have a Masters in International and Public Affairs from Columbia University and a BA in International Studies from American University. In my spare time, I read, volunteer for voter protection, exercise and travel internationally.
