What is your relationship with your ZF coach like/In what ways have they helped you?
I have a great relationship with my Zenie coach! Karen has been super friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, from the Zenie application, to making final plans for college. She helped me work through the CAT, which allowed me to make a realistic and achievable plan for paying for college, and has also been very responsive and helpful whenever I have had questions.

What hobbies/extracurriculars/other interests do you have? Tell us about them! Why are they your passions and how did you get involved?
I love music and I am hoping to join a band/music group once I am in college. I also really like to workout. Whether it is by running, lifting, or swimming, etc., working out is a great way for me to clear my head and also to have personal goals that I am working towards.

Why did you apply to ZF/what drew you to this organization?
I heard about the Zenie Foundation through my school, as several students in previous graduating classes had become a part of it. It sounded like a great opportunity for several reasons: receiving financial assistance, becoming part of a great community, and getting invaluable mentoring/help with both navigating college, as well as becoming financially independent.

Tell us about some of your career aspirations. It’s totally ok if you aren’t sure yet! This can be as specific or as general as you want.
As of now, I hope to become a physical therapist or massage therapist. Although that could change, I know for sure that I want to work in healthcare, and that I want to have a job where I am directly working with and helping people.
