What is something you love about your school? I really like how Elizabethtown has an obsession with carrot cake. They give it out at every major event, provide it as a dessert at every meal, and offer a piece to everyone touring. I really like carrot cake so Etown loving it so much is a huge plus.
How did you choose your major? I chose my major because it is largely all-encompassing of the requirements for medical school and is a different approach than the typical Pre-Med track.
What hobbies/extracurriculars/other interests do you have? I really enjoy to run in my spare time and will be running cross country for Elizabethtown. Originally, I didn't care for running but I joined XC in seventh grade after my gym teacher encouraged me to. Since then, I have really flourished, making a true family out of my team.
Tell us about some of your career aspirations. It’s totally ok if you aren’t sure yet! This can be as specific or as general as you want. My career aspirations are simple: Become a physician and provide care to the disadvantaged. I have ensured my early acceptance to Penn State Medical school so my career path should be straightforward. I cannot wait to make a difference and look forward to the journey taking me there!
Who is a role model for you/someone that you look up to and why? I would say one of the biggest role models I've had has been my uncle. He provided a strong example of how to approach problems and how to seek out a better future. In particular, he helped me with my college decisions and led me to a choice I am proud of. Without his guidance, I would have been lost during parts of this process and I am so grateful for his advice.
