How/why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because of my love for theater. I really wanted to work in a theater as I got older. By doing the AEIM program I am able to do the administrative side of theater and follow my passion for the creative arts.

What is your relationship with your ZF coach like/In what ways have they helped you?
My relationship was really good. My coaches are super friendly and understanding. Their daughter shares many similar interests with me and it was a perfect fit. They live close by and knew my drama director so they even came to my high school musical. They helped me to really consider the financial aspects of college and it was really helpful.

What hobbies/extracurriculars/other interests do you have?
I am a dancer and have been dancing since I could walk. I attended a dance studio in which I took classes. I also love to perform on the stage through my high school drama club. Another hobby of mine is that I love to read and write, especially fantasy and historical fiction. Anytime I have free time I always have a book in my hand.

Why did you apply to ZF/what drew you to this organization?
My counselor asked me to apply believing I had the values that the Zenie Foundation was looking for. I am so thankful that he pushed me to apply because it has been an amazing opportunity.

What impact has ZF had on your academic and professional career thus far?
Zenie Foundation was great because it really made me think deeply not only about the financial aspects of college but also how that would affect my future. The Zenie Foundation also invests quite a lot into their students and without this investment it is likely I would not have been able to reasonably afford the college of my choosing. So in this they were very helpful.

Tell us something you are excited about!
I am excited to start college. In general I am nervous but I can’t wait for the adventures it will bring.
