Hi. I am Marnie Morrione. I feel privileged to be a part of the Zenie Foundation family! My role is to manage the Foundation’s communications, systems and special projects. Although I am a native of the south, I have lived in Portland, Maine for over 15 years with my husband, Tom, and our two boys (both in college), and learning how to love the winters.
I constantly seek to learn and contribute to our greater community. In the past I have served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala; completed a master’s degree in international economics at John’s Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies; worked with the federal government in trade negotiations with the U.S. Department of Commerce; led national medical and food conferences with Diversified Business Communications; and served twelve years on the Portland Board of Education. I am joyful when I know there is a greater purpose to my efforts.
The Zenie Foundation is a perfect fit for me and I am excited, each day, to come to work. At ZF, I believe we are co-investing in the next generation to help them discover their full potential and finding ways to empower future change-makers. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family at the lake. You can reach me at marnie@zeniefoundation.org.
