What do you love about the college you’ll be attending?
II love the campus and the kindness of all the people there.
How/why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because I want to be an Interpreter. I want to do international studies as well because my ultimate goal is to interpret at the U.N
What hobbies/extracurriculars/other interests do you have? Tell us about them! Why are they your passions and how did you get involved?
I have been a dancer for quite some time, I love how I can express myself through movement. I also love to sing, I have been taking singing lessons since I was in 4th grade and I hope to keep singing at Holy Cross.
Why did you apply to ZF/what drew you to this organization?
I applied to the Zenie Foundation because my sister was a part of the organization and I saw how much of a positive impact it had on her life and academic progress.
Tell us about a time you made yourself proud.
I was very proud when I found out I was accepted to Holy Cross. I put a lot of time and effort into my application and I was happy to see it paid off.
Tell us about some of your career aspirations. It’s totally ok if you aren’t sure yet! This can be as specific or as general as you want.
I want to be an interpreter and help people communicate across language barriers.
Who is a role model for you/someone that you look up to and why?
My music teacher is a strong role model in my life. He has helped me grow so much as a person and truly made such an impact on my life. I really admire his demeanor and how he shows up everyday and gives it his all.
Do you have a favorite quote/what is a saying that you live by?
"You can't let your soul die while your heart is still beating".
