What is something you love about your school?
You can't get lost in it since it's a very small school. You are able to navigate pretty easily.

How/why did you choose your major?
I chose it because I do have an interest in neuroscience and would like to have a major that can open the doors towards a career that can let me live comfortably.

What is your relationship with your ZF coach like/in what ways have they helped you?
He's very constructive and informative about what I need to do and what I should be working on. He's very kind when he delivers this information and I greatly appreciate it. He's also pointed out what I should be thinking about when it comes to my future.

What hobbies/extracurriculars/other interests do you have? Tell us about them! Why are they your passions and how did you get involved?
I enjoy making dolls. At first I got into sewing because I wanted to be able to repair my clothes. After that I started trying to make dolls to gift to friends because I struggled in knowing what to buy them as gifts. In the end it ended up becoming a hobby.

Why did you apply to ZF/what drew you to this organization?
My school counselor thought I would be a good fit for the organization and encouraged me to apply for it.

What impact has ZF had on your academic and professional career thus far?
It's given me the courage to pursue higher education because some of the financial burden has been lifted off of my family's shoulders, and I hope that ZF can help me make connections and network with people in similar fields.

Tell us about a time you made yourself proud.
I finished multiple assignments that I put off for a few days. Getting them done was hard because my mind really wanted to drift somewhere else, but I managed to get it done.

Tell us about some of your career aspirations. It’s totally ok if you aren’t sure yet! This can be as specific or as general as you want.
I want to be able to research the brain, specifically the chemical components and how they can be manipulated.

Who is a role model for you/someone that you look up to and why?
I look up to one of my older cousins, as she lives how she wants. She is very kind and very knowledgeable, and has always encouraged me to try harder to achieve a life I found fulfilling.

Do you have a favorite quote/what is a saying that you live by?
No I don't. I just try not to stress about the future when I have so many responsibilities right now to handle.
