  • Alma mater:  Simmons University, Class of 2025, BS, Nursing; Minors in Psychology and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies
  • Field: Nursing
  • Other interests: Dancing. Spending time in nature. Being with family and friends.

Why did you pick your college major? How did that help lead (or not) to where you are now?
I love healthcare; I have always been fascinated with the human body; and the caring aspect; I loved science and anatomy in high school and hope to continue that learning. I really like helping people.  I added two minors because of my interest in women's health. I plan to specialize in women's health or obstetrics and gynecology, the importance of understanding psychology and gender have been really helpful.

Did your major change from first year to senior year?
No.

What piece of advice would you give to your college/high school self?
That I'm going to be OK - no exam or bump in the road will stop me from doing what I want.

Tell us about a time you made yourself proud.
I resuscitated a baby not too long ago and put all of my knowledge to use.

Do you have a favorite quote or saying?
"The idea of being able to have an impact on someone's life, even if it is small, means so much to me."

What hobbies/interests do you have outside of work? Tell us about them! Why are they your passions and how did you get involved?
Still dancing. Spending time in nature and being with family and friends.
