Hi, I’m Ken (he/him). I live in Massachusetts with my wife Karen. We are very lucky to have our two boys and daughters-in-law close by for frequent connections around meals, sports, music, campfires, or projects. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, however, I have spent most of my energy studying the commercial side of business, and “entrepreneuring” for the last 25 years.
You likely will see me as an enthusiastic supporter, coach, and mentor of people. I enjoy working with individuals and teams on independent and interdependent goals. It’s a blast to develop game plans aimed at achieving those endeavors, then getting on the field of play with the team to drive thru the challenges and adjustments required to be successful. My own career began with the introduction to Frank Zenie, who believed in me, coached me, and mentored me as I developed from a young engineer to a successful business leader.
The reason I’m delighted to be a part of the Zenie Foundation is because of my long relationship with Frank, Katherine, and their family. Frank’s principle centered leadership inspired me to achieve what was not obvious. I learned that you really can do anything you set out to do. So as you will see in your journey with the Zenie Foundation, coaches like me thoroughly enjoy getting to know our students, learning about their dreams and objectives, and participating in their lives as they move from high school to college and beyond.
To complete the picture of me, and in addition to my family, I have a passion for rock ‘n roll music (guitar), water skiing, riding my snowmobile and exercise.
