Personal Values & Development

As our coaches discuss the behaviors of effective adults with their students, they use the below tools to build this conversation. One striking thing we have learned through these discussions is that how you choose to spend your time directly correlates to your effectiveness as a person (true for all!). Before you can make these choices, you need a foundation to guide you - your personal values. We find the below very helpful in both areas.

When You Talk To Yourself...LISTEN!: You don't have to look far to find a great mentor.

Leadership Action Guide: Leadership isn’t charisma, appearance or good communications skills. Credible and worthy visions enable leadership.

7 Habits Action Guide: Links ZF’s Effective Adult values to Stephen Covey’s widely acclaimed book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Time Management Action Guide: Outlines the fundamental principles for managing your valuable time most effectively.
