Hello, we are Kendra & Mike. We have been married for over 30 years, reside in MA and are the parents of three young men who all have amazing wives. All three of our boys went to Ohio University-and we are proud to have achieved our goal of having them graduate debt free from college. They all currently live in the Nashville, TN area so we are lucky to be able to visit them in one shot! Our oldest son, Connor is an Outside Sales Rep for NEFCO. Our middle son, Tim, a Senior Data Analyst with Upwork. Tim benefited from a Zenie Foundation scholarship and enjoyed working with coach Tim Petracca as the process was evolving into what it is today. He is currently a mentor in the program and leads the program from the alumni perspective. Our youngest son, Ben, is a Finance Manager at Amazon. Ben and his wife will be welcoming a child in early Summer of 2026 and we are very excited to be joining the Grandparent ranks!
Kendra has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Babson College, by attending the part-time evening program while working. Kendra loved playing many sports growing up and played Varsity soccer in college. Kendra has worked in a range of jobs from small startups to large corporations. She loves manufacturing and is currently the Director of Operations at Ametek Brookfield.
Mike has a degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maine and an MBA from Bentley, which he also got at night while working. Mike has worked as a Finance leader of several Fortune 500 corporations and is currently Director of Productive Labor with Staples.
Kendra and Mike both loved playing a variety of sports and coached all their kids while they were growing up- Kendra mostly coached soccer and Mike’s passion was coaching basketball. We currently enjoy reading, playing pickleball, biking, going to the beach, taking walks and hikes, and traveling to visit our kids.
We are the newest coaches with the Zenie Foundation and feel honored to be a part of this wonderful organization. We look forward to working with the students and help them in their journey to becoming effective adults and inspired leaders.
