Why did you pick your college major? How did that help lead (or not) to where you are now?
I picked Psychology since I’ve always had an interest in people and learning how the mind works. I also knew I wanted a career that could help people. Right now I am working for a company which helps people with various kinds of mental illnesses, disabilities, and it even has a brain injury department. So I would say my psych degree has led me to exactly where I should be right now.

Did your major change from first year to senior year?
I kind of accidentally double majored because the WGS major had a lot of classes which I had a high interest in (HIV and Politics, Sexuality Education in the United States, Global Bodies where we learned about women’s rights across the world, etc). Most of them were for GenEds and by junior year I realized I could double major with my Psych and WGS. So, I thought why not get two degrees since I’m already there.

What piece of advice would you give to your college/high school self?
I would tell my college/high school self that college is hard and it’s ok to struggle. The most important thing to do is adapt and lean on people who will support you.

What hobbies/interests do you have outside of work? Tell us about them! Why are they your passions and how did you get involved?
Going to the gym, playing games and dabbling in art.
