I am Catharine Scruggs (she/her), Director of Community Engagement.
I live in Portland, Maine with my husband, 3 cats and a chihuahua. We have a son in college and a daughter just starting her career in Boston.
I have worked in higher education for my entire career, developing educational policies, programs, processes, services and operational capacities at the Council on International Educational Exchange, Kaplan International, and Gateway International, and as a consultant.
I have a Masters in International and Public Affairs from Columbia University and a BA in International Studies from American University. In my spare time, I read, volunteer for voter protection, exercise and travel internationally.
