Other interests: Reading, crocheting, writing and spending time with my family and friends.
What is something you love about your school? I love the community that has been created at Endicott, everyone is so accepting and friendly. The campus is also beautiful, I love being so close to the beach!
How/why did you choose your major? Photography has always helped me connect with people and allowed me to show others how I see the world. I am able to capture moments in time that people will be able to look back on for years to come. I'm excited to be following my passion and expanding my knowledge, as well as connecting with other creative people. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Photography at Endicott so I am also receiving a business education that will be extremely valuable after I graduate, especially if I decide to run my own photography business.
What hobbies/extracurriculars/other interests do you have? When I'm not taking pictures, I have a lot of hobbies. I love to read, crochet, and write. I also love to spend time with my family and friends.
Why did you apply to ZF/what drew you to this organization? I decided to apply to the Zenie Foundation because of the community that has been created. The strong values and ethics that the Zenie Foundation stands for are aligned with my own personal beliefs. I learned a lot through the process and it made me consider things I hadn't before. I feel honored to be accepted into this community. I really appreciate how the Zenie Foundation process allows the coaches to get to know the students.
Tell us something you are excited about! I'm really excited to learn more about photography in college. In the first few months, I have already learned so much and found new areas of photography I'm passionate about and might want to pursue further. The required internships at Endicott will allow me to get into the field and help me make connections as well as have a clearer picture of what I want to do after college.
