What is something you love about your school?
I love the size of my school. Originally I wanted to go to a very small school, but I’m glad I chose a bigger one where I can meet so many new people!

What is your relationship with your ZF Coach like?
I have a great relationship with my ZF coach and he has always been more than happy to answer every question I have. He was also incredibly helpful and gave great insight while I was navigating my entirely virtual freshman year!

Why did you choose your major?
I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare, but it wasn’t until I took anatomy and fell in love with the subject my junior year of high school, that I knew I wanted to be a nurse. There are also many nurses in my family so I grew up around it!

What hobbies/extracurriculars do you have?
I have worked at a bakery for 4 years and I also love to read and go to the gym! Despite my freshman year being completely virtual, I still had the opportunity to join two awesome clubs. They are the Student Nurses Association and Nursing Students Without Borders. While we had very limited activities, I still got to participate in zoom meetings and fundraisers!

Why did you apply to ZF?
I applied to ZF because of my cousins. Two of my cousins were ZF members throughout their college years and they couldn’t tell me enough good things about this foundation!

Tell us about some of your career aspirations.
I’m not entirely sure what kind of nurse I want to be, but I’m thinking either psychiatric or maternity. I also think being a travel nurse would be so cool!
