How did you choose your major? During my junior year of high school, I took AP biology. It was my favorite class of all time and something that I am very interested in. I feel that a degree in biology is a great jumping off point career-wise because of the opportunities it provides.
Tell us about a time you made yourself proud. I was diagnosed with dyslexia in the 4th grade after years of struggling to read. I started to receive a lot of help in all of my classes. I worked hard to retrain my brain to read words on the page as they appeared. By the 6th grade I tested off my IEP and no longer received any help.
What is your relationship like with your ZF Coach? My ZF coach is Ashley Donaldson. She is so kind and insightful. During our conversations she helped me narrow my school choices. I was very split for a long time, but with her guidance I was able to see the advantages at Fordham. Tell us something you are excited about! I am very excited because this August my sister is getting married. We have been waiting for a very long time for the wedding due to COVID-19 and we’re very happy to see it happen.
What is a saying that you live by? “Don't be so cool you can't cry Don't be so smart you can't wonder Don't be so set on your sunny days that you can't love the roll of the thunder”
